VIsion

The Vision of Nashville Indian Christian Fellowship is to bring the lost to Jesus Christ and to build up and encourage those who are already believers.

History

Nashville Indian Christian Fellowship(NICF) was started in the year 2007. Dora and Santhosh who were in Nashville then were looking for Indian Christian believers to have a fellowship and prayer.  Suneetha Palaparthy moved to Nashville during the same time and was with the same heart – looking for a fellowship of Christian believers. They both met on Orkut and started praying for the fellowship.

In September 2007, Dasari’s along with Suneetha with one another family met for the first time in Dasari’s residence resulting the birth of NICF!

The goal and purpose of NICF has been to be a place of support for Indian Christian believers in Nashville, through prayer and regular fellowship.

Then joined Daniel-Ann Aluru and Vijay-Rebekah Golla families. Then David-Silvia Yalla moved to Nashville and became very active members in the group.  David Yalla who knows Rev. Dr. P. Joshi Garu from India came to know about his son Pastor John Spurgeon moving to Murfreesboro and got connected with them.

Since 2008, Pastor John Spurgeon and his wife Zion has provided pastoral leadership to the group and is a great blessing from God to Nashville area.

From then, many families from different cities moved for work/school to Nashville and joined NICF.

With God’s Grace, NICf family has been growing consistently!
