Title: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those who are crushed in spirit.

Date: February 07’2020

Hope for the day: Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.

Dear friend good morning, hope you are thankful for another new day. I was frustrated this morning as I had to reschedule my important meeting because of  family scheduling conflict.

Immediately Holy Spirit calmed me down and told me to read the word and reminded me of this scripture from Psalm 34:18,19.

Listen dear friend we often wish we could escape troubles the pain of grief, loss, sorrow, and failures, or even the small daily frustrations that constantly wear us down. Watch God promises to be “close to the brokenhearted” and to be our source of power, courage, and wisdom, helping us through our problems. Sometimes he chooses to deliver us from those problems. When trouble strikes, don’t get frustrated with God. Instead, admit that you need God’s help and thank him for being by your side. I am at peace now, hope your will receive the same peace today as you navigate through the day.

Have a peaceful Wednesday.

Blessings,

Pastor John Spurgeon

Title: God Knows!

Date: February 02’2020

Philippians 2:13.

Good morning friend what do you when you don’t feel like obeying? God has not left us alone in our struggles to do his will. He wants to come alongside us and be within us to help. God helps us to desire to obey him and then gives us the power to do what he wants.

Listen friends the secret to a changed life is to submit to God‘s control and let it work. Dwell on this thought today and ask God to help you desire to do his will.

Have a blessed weekend,

Pastor John Spurgeon

Title: God Knows!

Date: January 29’2020

I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:7–8

Good afternoon dear friend, At one point or another, your life will change. You will turn corners and come upon new blessings and challenges in your lifetime. This can be a positive experience, because it means that God is ready to change you and bring you into a new season of blessing. Listen, God never made you with the intention of staying the same. Instead, He made you so that you would change and grow and move forward. God is not in the business of becoming stagnant and never changing. God has promised you that He will never leave you or be too far away. Watch Even though you may turn a corner without knowing what is on the other side, God knows. He will not allow you to trip or stumble when you’re following Him completely amen. So go ahead and turn those corners in confidence with God at your side.

Have a blessed Wednesday,
Pastor John Spurgeon
